Colorado River Float Down

Join us September 15th for a wonderful day of floating down the lower Colorado River. This event is FREE to the general public.

We begin our day at the Rio Loco Grill, signs ups will be on the back patio, and you will be required to sign a liability release. Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult and have a letter stating they are floating with (named adult) unless they are accompanied by their parents/guardians).

Afterwards one of our volunteer Captains take you and your gear to the first sandbar north of Ferguson Lake. You must bring your own tube, life jacket, orange signal flag, sunscreen, hat, towel, drinks & snacks. You will float back down to Fisher’s Lagoon.

To ensure we have enough Captains, we ask that you send an email to our event coordinator Peggy Stankovich stating the number of people in your party.  All floaters will receive a wristband good for $2.00 off any drink & $2.00 off any meal at the Rio Loco Bar & Grill to be used on float day only.
